Although Covid restrictions are being relaxed, we are aware that cases are still relatively high. Therefore we are asking parents and carers that they do NOT send your child in if they have any of the Covid -19 symptoms: a persistent cough, high temperature or loss or change in taste or smell. Please help us to keep everyone safe.
If you have any concerns about your child, their work or well-being, please contact Mrs Lisa Woodhouse (Head Teacher) via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For all enquiries please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
WELCOME TO MANACCAN SCHOOL & PRE-SCHOOL
I am very proud to be the Executive Headteacher of Manaccan Primary and part of Southerly Point Cooperative Multi-Academy Trust. Manaccan has a very special school family which is integral to the Manaccan community. We embrace the Trust values of Self-help, Self-responsibility, Democracy, Equality, Equity, Solidarity, Openness, Honesty, Social Responsibility and Caring for Others.
Our school is situated on the Lizard Peninsula in a delightful area of outstanding natural beauty. The countryside, near by Helford River and the beach at St Anthony, offer a wealth of educational opportunities for the study of wildlife, geography and geology and we take advantage of that as much as we possibly can with forest school type activities.
The main building of the school is a Victorian building circa 1896. At its height there were 114 pupils taught in the two classrooms, and children were educated here until they reached 14 years old.
Our highly talented teaching staff are ambitious for every child in their care and bring excellence and enjoyment together to the classroom. We know that children learn best when they are excited and engaged, so we have created a curriculum which does just that. The excellent teaching challenges the children and shows them what they can achieve.
We place great emphasis on developing strong relationships with all our children, parents and carers, along with our local and wider community, to provide the best possible outcomes for our children.
